New number for the Herefordshire and Worcestershire 24/7 Mental Health Helpline
In line with guidance from NHS England, all 24/7 urgent mental health helplines should be Freephone numbers.
As a result our local 24/7 mental health helpline has now been updated to: 0808 196 9127
The old 01905 681 915 number will remain active and will automatically redirect to the new 0808 196 9127 number.
For information we offer everybody access to our all-age 24/7 Helpline, which provides support and signposting to anybody struggling with mental health problems. It also provides access to our Mental Health Crisis Team.
It has been extremely well-used this year – seeing a 68% increase in calls since April 2020 and is currently helping over 1,100 people every month
Ward Cllr Jennie Hewitt contact details
Councillor Hewitt would like to encourage residents to use her telephone number between the hours of 9am – 10am or 5pm- 6pm on either Tuesday or Friday if they have concerns they would like to raise with her. If for any reason she is unable to pick up the call please leave a name and number and she can get back to you.
Jennie’s councillor telephone does not work well in the depths of Shenmore so the landline is the best option:
01981 250720.
